Burlington Square

HFA provided architecture, MEP engineering, structural engineering, and fire protection services for the renovation of Burlington Square, a retail center covering more than 50,000 square feet across two buildings in Burlington, Massachusetts. The remodel, completed for Brixmor Property Group, included façade improvements, tenant space reconfiguration, and interior landlord work to create a more inviting shopping and gathering destination.

The renovation introduced modernized façades, replacing existing gables with raised architectural features designed to increase tenant visibility. New exterior lighting helps define outdoor gathering areas, while a 15-foot-high, 300-foot-long screen wall along a major roadway conceals back-of-house operations and provides consistent tenant signage.

With Tatte Bakery serving as an anchor tenant, the updated center brings together improved storefront visibility, cohesive design elements, and welcoming outdoor spaces to support the businesses within the center and create a more inviting customer experience.
