HFA provided architectural and permitting services for a remodel and addition at Extra Space Storage in North Attleboro, Massachusetts. The 77,390 square foot facility was completed in June 2025. The scope included a three-story addition to an existing one-story building. The building contains rentable self-storage units. HFA designed the addition to integrate with the existing structure while working within tight site constraints. Integration required careful coordination with the existing building. Permitting required added coordination in a challenging jurisdiction. HFA worked closely with the franchise owner from concept through construction administration. The result is an expanded facility that supports continued storage operations.
