Oak Hills Lodge in Bowie, Texas, is a 34,500-square-foot, three-story boutique hospitality retreat for which HFA provided architectural and interior design services for.
The project includes 32 guest rooms, with a mix of standard accommodations and suites, along with central public spaces that support dining, gathering, and group retreat functions. A covered porte-cochère establishes a clear arrival sequence, leading to a lobby, dining area, bar, and flexible conference space. Outdoor patios and a planned pool area extend the guest experience beyond the building footprint.
Drawing from regional ranch traditions, the design combines natural stone, heavy timber, and steel elements to create a contemporary lodge that reflects its North Texas setting.
